Air Conditioning

The key to choosing the right model or air conditioning system for your home lies in calculating the cooling and heating capacity you need. The more rooms you want to condition, the more power you will need. As a general rule, it is considered that a room of about 30 m2 needs 3,000 frigories/hour. The insulation of the house itself or the electrical appliances that are in operation can condition the cooling or heating needs of the home. Most models are equipped with a heat pump, which allows the same appliance to be used all year round. Please note that the use of any of the air conditioning systems is recorded on the electricity bill.

There are various air conditioning systems:

  • Split or multisplit: these consist of an exterior machine and one or more interior machines. They are the ones that offer a greater cooling capacity, although the cost of the installation must be added.
  • Split mobile: they are composed of an exterior unit and an interior mobile one.
  • Mobile monobloc: they are composed of a mobile interior unit, equipped with a hot air extraction tube that must go outside the house. They are the least efficient.
